Milton Glaser is so f’ing cool. When you talk about Glaser everyone thinks about the NY campaign, and that has had unbelievable success and coolness factor but I always associate Glaser with the DC logo. Probably because, for a spilt second, it transports me back to being a kid and reading comics every week. The Sagmeister and Paula Scher movies are great too. Wicked type. Sagmeister’s work always reminds me so much of modern sculptors such as Jimmie Durham, Mike Kelley, Catherine Opie – but that’s a whole different topic. Good stuff Steve, thanks for sharing. You rock.
