Influences
Presumably everyone is extremely busy this week. So I tried to think of a blog topic that would not make anyone’s brain hurt anymore than it already does. My question is simple. Where and what do you find as typographic inspiration and influence? Are there any books, music, magazines or websites that you use frequently for influence?

People: Paula Scher, Sagmeister, James Victore, The Post-Typeography boys, Jordan Myers and Josh Fink, my classmates, peoples handwriting, and so on.
Places: Bathroom walls, Signage, vintage hotrod ads and magazines, old punk rock flyers, design annuals, etc.
Things: Little notes, government documents, flyers/posters, the internet, books, advertising/products, graffiti, random, etc.
Personally, there is no one type of thing I look for for inspiration in typography. I like to explore what people have done before (in general), how people I know use their type and then just found objects like posters, graffiti, shapes, photography. It all collectively builds on the notion of inspiration and allows me to create.
